 Make sure that nobody has an allergy to nuts before serving a food that has nuts in its recipe.

Total sugars – not just sugar – are listed in each Nutrient Content section. There are different sugars present in every recipe. For example, recipes that contain milk or yogurt will have lactose (“milk sugar”) in each serving. Lactose is part of the grams of total sugars reported for that serving. Any fruit, vegetable or flour in a recipe will also contribute to the grams of total sugars.
